Where We Stand
Mr. C and I have decided to start a chronicle of our homestead adventures. So this space will be where we can document and look back on all of our homesteading projects, ventures, failures and shenanigans.
Let me start by saying that we have wanted to homestead for a very long time. We've been in our current home for six years. We kept putting off starting our homestead journey and coming up with multiple excuses, babies, lack of resources, lack of knowledge. More and more I realized that we have to embrace where we are in our life and follow our dreams. Life has a way of going by too quickly and if you don't follow your dreams before you know it it's going to be too late. I have a homesteading friend who taught me this. Wheather it was intentional or not I'm not sure. I visited her farm for the first time two summers ago and realized you can start farming with whatever you have wherever you are, you just have to be in the right mindset .
So this post is just a welcome to the Farm, welcome to the homestead, and welcome to the blog. We're glad to have you here. We hope you stick around and enjoy reading about our successes, our failures, our family and our animals. Thanks for stopping by!
